More than twice of what goes to education goes to religion? Despicable. I’m well aware that a part of ‘religion’ includes religious charity work and beneficial work, but it also includes all of the usual bells and whistles that come with religion. Wouldn’t this graph look much better if that top 35% was re-distributed into the rest of the graph?
Instead of donating to desperate hacks like Rick Warren, try this list of secular charities. Or better yet, help out the newly opened Foundation Beyond Belief.
